Spinning Through

My painting Spinning Through reflects on the destruction brought by war and the cycle of violence inherent in human nature through vibrant visual contrasts and symbolism. By layering multiple strips of paint, I create a scene of a spinning carousel amidst the motion of war fire, enhanced by an overlaying mirror maze effect. The carousel spins in endless circles implies that the relentless cycle of war, while the bright colors of celebration fade into the shadows of loss and despair.
